At ATARA MULAN, we approached staging and renovating this home as an exercise in restraint.

We looked at light, proportion, and materiality as a focus rather than pure decoration. Our intention was to create a space that feels calm the moment you enter, where each room flows naturally into the next and the sea-facing light becomes part of the experience.

Soft neutrals, warm timber tones, and globally sourced furnishings were fused to evoke quiet comfort. We wanted the home to feel effortless yet intentional: a place where you can have your daily routine unfold at a slower, more considered pace in a pleasant afternoon in Hong Kong.
